Owners Manual for your new boss


Provide you an “owner’s manual” for Brian
- Move rapidly to reduce uncertainty by explaining how I think, what I believe.
  Rapidly answer the questions I anticipate or have heard over the years
- Articulate some things that some may have a hard time asking about
-Provide an opportunity to ask additional questions, during & after
-how best to interact with me and how I expect you to interact with each other.

Early 90’s:   Mid-size healthcare manufacturer
  Started out as a software engineer
Mid 90’s:   Ernst & Young
  5 in consulting / management consulting & IT service delivery
  Focus on software & IT consulting for manufacturing & financial services
  2 years in process improvement consulting and sales
Late 90’s:   Entrepreneur
  Software company, small joint ventures, and consulting
  Mergers & acquisitions
Early 2000:  CEO of a public consulting company
  Ran a business strategy & consulting group
  Started joint ventures within state/federal government contracting sector
2002:   Joined a small mortgage software company
  3 years product implementations, consulting, and sales
  Acquired by Clayton and subsequent IPO
  Ran Clayton IT shop for 2 years
2007:   Ran Servicing shop for Citigroup
2008:   Joined Theoris Software
2???:   Retired…
